Sim racing is so competitive these days and being that I’m 60 years of age, it’s not getting any easier to compete. That doesn’t stop me though, I’m learning everyday and getting a little quicker all the time. I choose my battles on track, knowing who’s around me and racing people on par with my ability. If someone’s much faster, why hold them up when I can try to following them for a bit and learn and learn something.
That being said, I missed the starting grid in my GT3 race at Sebring Int this week, so I started from the pits in 17th position and raced the track plus a few cars I caught and ended up finishing in P7 by about a bumper! It was pouring rain, so it’s a whole new animal so to speak, but was fun aside from a few code browns if you know what I mean. lol
At least the rain would wash away the brown stains after the race. 🤣
Off to Red Bull Ring this coming week, hope it’s not raining there!
I painted up an MX-5 as an appreciation gesture for RACELAB APP overlays for iRacing. The software is great and always being improved with new features. If you use iRacing and Trading Paints (another must have app) you can race with this paint, check it out at the following link – RACELAB-Mazda-MX5-Cup-by-GALLERY-616
